Job Description: NEW BUSINESS SALES EXECUTIVE
Reports to: CEO
Location: United Kingdom
Function:
- To achieve agreed revenue targets by maintaining and developing close, productive, profitable and mutually beneficial relationships with prospects and customers.
- To motivate and support customers so as to create, maintain and increase revenues for the company.
- Produce, review, and report on business plans on a regular basis. Extensive involvement in market analysis in promoting marketing activities and developing prospects, identifying new marketing and analysing product fit and pricing positions is also a pre-requisite.
- Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams of any relevant business intelligence gained by engaging with prospects and / or customers.
- Monitor, review and report on Prospects / Customers lead development, conversion, marketing and sales achievement against business plans
- Produce a regular sales forecast for senior management review.
- Ensure that customers understand that Aqilla is committed to helping them achieve their objectives as well as its own. Promotion and commitment to product must be gained from all relevant personnel.
- Create and maintain professional business relationships (partnerships) with all key internal staff, understanding and analysing business dynamics to ensure the business can achieve its overall business objectives.
- Bring to the company’s attention any items of concern or any suggestions for improvement in any of the company's systems or processes
Key Skills / Experience:
- Proven experience selling an IT geared technology product or solution
- Strong business development selling skills
- Demonstrable track record of achievement against targets
- 2 years + of new business focused experience
- Excellent pipeline management and development
- Experience of cradle to grave sales cycle
- Strong closing skills
- An effective communicator
Job Description: JAVA DEVELOPER
Reports to: Technical Director
Location: United Kingdom
Function:
Produce well structured, maintainable, reliable and fit for purpose code at an accepted level of quality, working on our core web-based accounting & business solutions. Create, enhance, and maintain functionality as assigned by the Technical Director.
Key Skills / Experience:
- Java/J2EE - at least 3 years commercial experience
- Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
- SQL (Preferably MySQL) – at least 3 years commercial experience including optimisation of queries
- Java Server Faces (JSF), Java Server Pages (JSP), Servlets - at least 3 years of experience including custom components
- Hibernate/ORM/JPA - at least 3 years
- JBoss AS
- JBoss Seam - at least 3 years
- Web Services - SOAP and REST
- XML and XSLT
- Knowledge of Ajax
- SVN
- Agile methodologies and TDD
Desirable:
- Linux
- Unix Shell Scripting
