News - Aqilla partners with ICAEW IT Faculty for IT Faculty Road Shows

ICAEW IT Faculty for IT Faculty Road ShowsMarch 25th, 2009 - Aqilla the web based accounting solution provider has joined forces with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to support its current series of IT Faculty Road Shows.

In days of economic uncertainty it is more important than ever to get the most out of the software you already have. The spring IT Faculty Road Shows are designed to help chartered accountants derive the highest possible benefit from one of their primary business tools – Microsoft Excel.

Dr Paul Booth, technical and development manager at the ICAEW’s IT Faculty, commented “Excel is still the most popular and commonly used business tool for finance professionals across the country.  Gaining additional value from its use is critical to business success.  It is natural that Aqilla would work closely with providers of such a tool for the benefit of all of their customers.  We are delighted that they have chosen to support us.”

Colin Christianson, Director, Aqilla commented “The ICAEW represents a huge majority of professional accountants across the country.  These firms would derive direct benefit from offering services to their clients that can only truly be delivered with the use of web based accounting solutions.  These road shows will give delegates the opportunity to understand more about the opportunities afforded by adopting such a strategy.”

The first in the series of road shows will be held at the Chartered Accountants’ Hall, London on Thursday 23rd April.  The rest of the tours sees dates in Haydock, Sheffield, Taunton, Cardiff, Norwich, Chelmsford and concludes on Thursday June 4th in Hatfield.  To register for the event or more details go to www.icaew.com/itfacevents or call 01908 248 159.
