Last weekend (9th-10th January 2015) we carried out some planned maintenance on the infrastructure that powers Aqilla.

 

We have upgraded and added significant data centre capacity which whilst seamless for users provides even more scope for growth and enhanced performance.

It didn't take long

Given a number of months of preparation the switchover to new servers meant the service being unavailable for not much longer than a normal version upgrade. Most of our clients didn't even notice it happening as the work was done on a weekend period outside of normal business hours.

Aqilla *is* even better

Beyond faster, more advanced and more resillient server architecture users will gain additional benefit by way of the introduction of the latest data encryption / server certification technology. Automatic backup and disaster recovery provision will remain in place as at present providing total peace of mind for the 1000+ Aqilla users now spanning 21 countries in five continents.
