Technology and Data Are Of Vital Importance for Charities’ Strategies
Posted on Mar 04, 2015
Last week, we spoke at CFG It & Data Insight Conference 2015. Charity Finance Group is the charity that champions best practice in finance management in the voluntary sector.
Just like in previous years, CFG brought together key speakers, leader charity finance professionals and IT & Data services to explore the current technology and data issues impacting the charity sector.
This year, the conference focused on five main topics:
- Using data to inform decision-making processes and manage organisational data;
- IT Outsourcing main approaches, advantages and disadvantages;
- How to integrate finance systems and CRM solutions and their benefits;
- Designing a “bring your own device” strategy;
- Staying ahead with data analysis tools.
As a cloud based accounting software, Aqilla was invited to speak on ‘Saving With The Cloud’. Cloud software will bring a breath of fresh air to any company’s financial department. Aqilla’s software is flexible and adaptable to any clients needs, it’s a very simple and smart platform and has strict data protection and security control.
