Recent Microsoft Windows 10 Updates

Aqilla were proud to announce the swift resolution created by the Aqilla Development & Support teams this week in response to an issue that arose as a consequence of a recent Microsoft Windows update.

Some users of the Microsoft Excel add-in feature were presented with the problem as a result of the Microsoft update changing the technical definition of a parameter that was previously optional within the Microsoft VisualBasic framework.

The issue was quickly identified by our support team who posted an update on Tuesday 20th August, which users can download here.

We would like to thank our customers for their patience during this time, as we understand the importance of the  Microsoft Add-in feature to the successful running of their day-to-day operations.

We strongly believe that the speed of the fix is made possible as a consequence of our Cloud-native capabilities, with the issue quickly spotted and the resolution deployed to all affected customers in one go.

Should our users have any issues with installation, contact your IT department to ensure that the update is not blocked within your system. We would also recommend all users continue to monitor their Windows update settings on a regular basis.
