Assurance Analyst
Analysis & Design Support
Work with the CPO to understand business, customer, and user requirements and transate them into clear, structured system specifications
Document functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, data structures, and integration points
Identify dependencies, risks, and technical considerations early in the delivery lifecycle
Maintain clear, concise, and version-controlled documentation to support development and testing
Testing & Quality Assurance
Define and execute test cases aligned to requirements and system design
Perform system, integration, and regression testing prior to release
Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal users and customers
Maintain traceability between requirements, test coverage, and outcomes to ensure consistent release quality
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and validate solutions during build
Support delivery in line with the agreed scope, timelines, and product intent
Provide structured feedback to CPO and CTO on system behaviour, defects, and quality trends
Proven experience in systems analysis, functional specification, or business analysis within a software delivery environment
Strong experience in manual testing and developing comprehensive test cases
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Kanban, or hybrid environments)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
Ability to translate between business needs and technical implementation clearly and effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and documentation
Comfortable working closely with developers, product, and support teams
Experience with finance or accounting systems
Understanding of core accounting or financial operations (e.g., reporting, payments, controls)
Experience supporting UAT with internal stakeholders or customers
Familiarity with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and test management tools
Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
£45,000 per annum, pro-rated for the duration of the fixed-term contract
